Terms of Service
In short: Wickline gives you charts, data and tools to make your own decisions. It is not investment advice, data can be delayed or wrong, and you're responsible for your trades. Be respectful in chat.
These terms are an agreement between you and Wickline ("we", "us") for your use of wickline.trade and its features (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Who can use Wickline
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to form a binding agreement. You may only use the Service in line with the laws that apply to you.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password and recovery code safe. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the account menu.
3. Not financial advice
Wickline provides charts, market data, indicators, scanners, news, calendars, community posts and AI-generated analysis for information and education only. Nothing on the Service is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Trading and investing involve substantial risk, including losing more than you invest. You alone are responsible for your decisions. Consider getting advice from a licensed professional.
4. Market data and third-party content
Prices, charts, news, economic calendars, earnings data, community posts and other content come from third-party sources. They may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, and they can stop working without notice. Don't rely on the Service as your only source of information for a trade. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we're not responsible for their content.
5. Pilot AI and automated analysis
Pilot AI and Auto analysis produce automated output that can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when it sounds confident. Always check important information yourself. Don't enter sensitive personal information into Pilot AI.
6. Alerts
Price alerts and reminders are a convenience and may be delayed or missed, for example if your browser is closed, your device is asleep or a data source fails. Don't rely on them for time-critical actions.
7. Community and chat rules
Chat messages are public. When you post, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten or abuse others, or post hateful, sexual or violent content.
- Spam, advertise, or promote schemes such as pump-and-dumps or other market manipulation.
- Impersonate others, or share other people's private information.
- Post anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to store and display it to provide the Service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
8. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service. That includes trying to break or overload it, bypassing rate limits or security, scraping it at scale, reverse engineering it where the law doesn't allow that, or using it to break the law.
9. Your scripts and content
Scripts, drawings, watchlists and other content you create belong to you. You're responsible for scripts you write and run in Script Lab.
10. Our service
The Wickline name, design and software are ours. We may change, add or remove features, and we may suspend or end the Service or your access, especially if you break these terms. The Service is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we'll tell you first, and you'll only pay if you choose to.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, availability, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent the law allows.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Wickline won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any trading losses, lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the Service, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If you haven't paid anything, that amount is zero. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to cover us against claims that arise from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If changes are important, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms.
